Attorney Jared Martens is a hard-hitting criminal defense lawyer with a strong reputation built over two decades. As founder of Martens Law Office, P.C., he’s protected the rights of folks in Ada and Boise Counties, as well as the surrounding area of Idaho, who face a wide range of felony and misdemeanor charges at the state and federal level. His skills include:

Criminal defense: Arresting officers and prosecutors can sometimes be a little overzealous. Mr. Martens is known for his straight talk and for being someone who can roll up his sleeves and aggressively fight for the rights of clients facing criminal charges.

DUI defense: Breathalyzers and roadside tests do not always accurately read the situation. While many DUIs are misdemeanors, the disruptions and penalties can make it challenging to maintain work and family obligations. He can help clients explore their legal options based on the case details to minimize the charge’s long-term negative effects.

Fishing and hunting violations: Mr. Martens is an avid sportsman and understands that fish and game violations sometimes happen, often due to an honest mistake or misunderstanding of the Idaho Fish and Game regulations. Examples of his work include (but aren’t limited to) tagging the wrong animal, hunting on private property, possession or transportation without proxy, over your limit and recreational trespass. He protects licenses by focusing on the specifics of each case.

He is a proven defender who also handles traffic violations, drug charges and other crimes. Contact us to discuss your charges.
